's "Sailor Moon parents" contest.
I've always liked the idea that our current myths about Greek/Roman mythology come from actual actions taken in the Silver Millennium. Zeus/Jupiter is believed to have thrown lightning bolts because Sailor Jupiter used lightning, and so on.
So here we have the first meeting of the little Princess Mars and Princess Venus, in the arms of their parents: the general-king Ares of Mars, and the gorgeous and beloved Aphrodite of Venus. Aphrodite had an affair with Ares, though she was married to his brother Hephaestus (Vulcan to the Romans).

Now i am rather curious, I loveeee Greek/Roman Myth, wouldn't Rei and Minako, be like cousins since Aries and Aphrodite Brother and sister? in a way?
