Drew this during my "Sacred Texts of Asia" class during the phase on Hinduism, copying the pose and the style of dress from a Sanskrit copy of the Bhagavad-Gita.
"Sri Shanti" (written at the bottom of the drawing) is a rough translation of "Serenity-sama". (The teacher spoke Sanskrit. Needless to say, it was a pretty cool class.)
