Stained Glass Day

I was having so much fun staring at and analyzing the detail and beauty of the figures in the completed drawing, I hardly said anything about the stained glass itself other than "BRIGHT AND NIFTY FRAMING" XD So I might as well say here, this is gorgeous itself! I love the way it keeps the viewer guessing, getting more and more drawn in looking for and finding different patterns every time. (case in point, I just found the cross. Nicely done!) It's a lovely combination of apparent chaos and rigid order. Even the colors are well chosen with a nice balance of warm and cool with neither being too overpowering. The more subtle streaks of light at play add a nice texture and depth especially compared to the sharp flat black framing. I'm glad you posted the window on its own, it's easy to get lost in the glorious intricacy.
