The detailed profiles are great, but I really enjoy seeing (parts of) the system portrayed together this way.
Getting to see Cesar and Tyrone and their respective daemons together is particularly interesting with all their subtle differences in expression and pose, while retaining the twin-similarities that differ from other Colbert similarities.
Not enough "N'awwwwww" in the world for Stevie & Shasta *nuzzles* Same goes for Jermaine and her mini horse <3 (which is saying something for me, because for cranky irrational past reasons I have an aversion to little blonde horse-loving girls, which her utter sweetness and innocence has gotten me past)
Stephen at the forefront with Sweetness taking the eagle's post in the iconic pose is just fantastic. I love the way you manage to make an instantly recognizable image so completely your own I also like the subdued coloring of Stephen's tie & Sweetness' raven form. I suppose it more closely matches "The Warrior Poet" all in white from an earlier drawing of Tyrone/Stephen/Stevie as red/white/blue, but I like the way it also gives him a more measured appearance as firstperson!Stephen instead of the patriotic fear puppet.
This was almost my first time drawing Caesar, and made for an interesting contrast. First time ever for Honeypie and Honeybunch, and alas, I didn't do their cuteness justice.
Much as I am not a dog person, it's hard to beat a cute puppy XD I love that Jermaine has fans in spite of her blondeness, and horseness, and, you know, only-appearing-in-a-handful-of-scenesness.
While I was coloring these figures, I briefly had Stephen in the white suit, then decided it looked too flashy and not quite right. (Hm...maybe I should draw white!suit!Stephen with shapeless!balrog!Sweetness. That seems to be the fitting pair, before both of them settled into their more reasonable forms.) Instead he has the white suit and grey tie, while Tyrone and Stevie are still in red and blue respectively, and Caesar and Jermaine get a kind of light-greyish-purple blending that fits their background roles.
