When a ship gets caught in a storm and one of its passengers is thrown overboard, merman Seafin Cuttlebert and his sidekick Swimmy Fallon rescue it and drag it to shore. Seafin knows he's supposed to keep his distance from humans -- but there's something strangely captivating about this one....
(Also, he isn't completely sure it didn't die on the trip. He really hopes it starts twitching soon.)
