Zen Sigil by ErinPtah Zen Sigil by ErinPtah
Clean version of the symbol seen in The Eagle of Hermes - it's the Jon Stewart version of the Hellsing sigil.

So, what exactly does it all mean? Be Reasonable is from the comic, L'chaim is hebrew for "life", Moment Of Zen is from their shows.
Erin allready said the outside script says the same thing as the inside.

What does 212 mean?
(for that matter, what did the 812 mean?)

(Also, is Oliver Cromwell written on Alucard's insignia in thebian or something?)

Be Reasonable is something Jon has frequently yelled on-screen. "Roll 212" was what he said in the Jim Cramer interview to call up one of the damning clips; the phrase turned into a meme, so that he and the correspondents will say it whenever they're about to run a particularly point-making clip. (In a toss a few months ago, Stephen fought back with "Roll 213!")

I have no idea what the original 812 means ^_^; The Theban script on the outside of Alucard's sigil is also the same as the English text on the inside.

"Cromwell" was on the glyph Integra originally told Jon to carve, because part of the release of Alucard's powers involves invoking "the Cromwell approval." Since Stephen changed it, his invocation now goes "The Lincoln approval is now in effect."

I think Zhuang Zi would approve of Stewart's use of absurdity.
