Description
My version of Carlos's Desert Bluffs counterpart, as seen in the AU with daemons.
His name is Carlo Raimondi, and he and Carlos Ramirez have been working in the same field for ages even before this project. They don't know each other well, but each has lots of experience gently redirecting people who are trying to reach the other guy. He's straight, white, and has some casual homophobia going on -- the kind of stereotypes and misconceptions he could get over if pushed. Although that does depend on him staying alive long enough to rethink them.
Carlo is the head of the control team, whose job is to get readings from a "normal town" in the Night Vale region to compare with the research done by Carlos's team. It's respectable work, but sometimes it makes him feel...well, you know.

If only they had picked Pine Cliffs as a control instead of Desert Bluffs. (Then again, we don't know anything about Pine Cliffs. It could have some entirely new and unknown brand of supernatural horrors in store for its residents. With a name like that, it's probably the kind of town where those cabin in the woods horror stories happen. All the time.)
